This website and our recruitment services are run by EJ HR Consultancy Services FZ-LLC, trading as EJ SEARCH. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

We collect information that candidates and clients give us, or that is publicly available in a professional context, including:

  • Your name and contact details, such as email address, phone and mobile number, and location.
  • Your CV, professional history, qualifications, certifications and project experience.
  • Details about the roles you are interested in, such as salary expectations and availability.
  • For clients: the names and contact details of people we work with, and information about the roles you are hiring for.
  • Notes from our conversations, emails and messages with you.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide our recruitment services, including to:

  • Match candidates to suitable roles.
  • Contact candidates and clients about opportunities, by phone, email, LinkedIn or text message.
  • Manage searches, interviews, offers and placements.
  • Keep business records, such as agreements and invoices.

SMS / Text messaging

SMS / Text Messaging: If you provide your mobile number, EJ SEARCH may contact you by SMS about relevant job opportunities and your candidacy. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

We share a candidate's details with a prospective employer only with that candidate's consent.

We do not sell personal data. We use trusted service providers, such as email, phone and database services, to run our business. They handle personal information only on our instructions and only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as it is useful for recruitment purposes, or as long as we need it for legal, accounting or record-keeping reasons. We review the information we hold from time to time and delete what we no longer need.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your information.
  • Stop contacting you.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Because we are based in the United Arab Emirates and work with clients and candidates in North America, your information may be handled in more than one country.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
